| Since 1667, the Sargent
family has operated Sargent Farm on Bear Hill Road in Merrimac, a 500
acre New England farm nestled in the northeast corner of
Massachusetts. |
|
 |
| The farm has grown and changed with time, but the central theme of the
family has remained constant. Like their ancestors,
brothers Jason and Scott Sargent still rely on family members in every
aspect of the operation. |
|
 |
 |
|
Both grew up on the farm and are now
raising their children, two daughters and two sons, to learn the
honest, hard work that results in high quality, agricultural
products. |

The
family has nourished the land for 11 generations, resulting in a living
piece of history with a strong and vibrant future. In addition to
growing corn and hay for local family dairy farms, the Sargents produce
a ready to use compost from horse stable waste, food by-products, and
cow manure. |
